The first of eight presentations focuses on an introduction to the Quality Indicators of Assistive Technology and begins to make the connections between assistive technology practice and adoption vs. abandonment of AT. Part of the presentation is spent showing how to navigate and use the quality indicators to help your team identify where changes may need to be made at a later time.
Objectives:
► Using your own words, define adoption and abandonment in the context of assistive technology.
► Understand the relationship of the QIAT indicators to the concepts of Adoption and Abandonment.
