Since 1984, the Helen Keller National Center for Youths and Adults (HKNC) has celebrated the last week of June as Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week.
The HKNC is the only national agency that provides information, referral, support, and comprehensive training exclusively to youths and adults who have combined vision and hearing loss, their families, and the professionals who work with them.
