NO other area in assistive technology has exploded as much as the availability of AAC: Augmentative and Alternative Communication Apps that can be downloaded into iPads, Tablets and Smartphones. When considering AAC Apps for a communicator’s system, a feature match approach provides a full assessment of all of the options available. Decisions on AAC Apps should be based upon features including input options, processing types of vocabulary systems, output features and other important features. During this webinar we will explore variations of these AAC Apps through examples and short demonstrations. Participants will receive a set of feature match charts and forms to assist in the assessment process.
