Technology to Support Diverse Learners: Chrome Writing Tools with Mike Marotta
How do we provide support to struggling writers? Let's leverage the power of technology in our classrooms and explore Chrome tools (built into the G Suite of tools, along with apps and extensions). Join us for this exploration of features to support writers in the areas of pre-writing; drafting; revising; editing and publishing.
Learner Outcomes
1. Participants will understand the feature match process and use the process to identify appropriate assistive technology tools which will match each learner’s unique needs.
2. Participants will experience Chrome G Suite tools, apps and browser extensions to meet the diverse writing needs of all learners.
3. Participants will identify at least three examples of utilizing Chrome G Suite tools, apps and browser extensions, both in the classroom and at home, to facilitate student learning in the areas of: Literacy, learning, pre-writing, drafting, revising, editing, publishing and notetaking.
