The ability to write and express oneself is a necessity in a school environment and a lifelong skill. Each year many students become disengaged with the writing process due to multiple factors. This session will present a continuum of tools to support writing, along with methods to empower and encourage students to write. This fast-paced presentation will look at assessment, access, and implementation for student achievement when accessing low-tech to high-tech software, hardware, Web 2.0 sites and apps that help students move from reluctant writers to authors.
