What is AT anyway? This session focuses to answer that question as well as other questions related to AT processes and AT services. It may serve as an introduction for some or a review for others. Essential quality AT services for children and students with disabilities starts with having a core understanding of AT. Opportunities to ask questions will be included in the session.
After participating in this session, individuals will:
- state a functional definition of AT that defines the scope and purpose of AT
- identify a process used to provide quality AT services to children and students
- summarize AT services that are defined in special education law that apply to all students receiving special education services.
