Description: Determining the AT needs of a child or student is the responsibility of the IFSP or the IEP team. This three-part series focuses on a process that may be used to evaluate the AT needs of a child or student. In this session, participants will discover the feature matching process that helps to identify potential AT tools/systems to meet the individual AT needs of a child or student. Opportunities to ask questions will be included in the session.
Learning Outcomes
After participating in this session, individuals will:
-describe the steps involved in a feature matching process
-identify strategies for defining key features of potential AT tools/systems
-apply the feature match process in identifying and analyzing potential AT tools/systems
