AT Adoption vs Abandonment: Introduction (Part 2/8) with Sayard Bass

The second of eight presentations focus on the concept of abandonment. Two studies, one from 1993 and another from 2016 show similar factors can be responsible for a user deciding not to use a device. This section highlights the influence of the device itself as well as the providing team can influence a decision to abandon the use of assistive technology.
