This session will cover the basics of captioning, captioning options on mobile devices and computers, as well as apps and programs for creating captions. We will cover Clips, Youtube auto-generated captions, Final Cut Pro captioning, MovieCaptioner and other solutions. Participants in this session will come away with information to start captioning all their movies.
Objectives
At the end of the session:
1. Participants will be able to identify 3 benefits of captioning.
2. Participants will be able to explain the difference between Open and Closed Captions.
3. Participants will be able to identify at least one captioning solution.
