Lesson Planning with Core in Mind with Kelly Key

This session will share information about 2 types of planning when implementing core vocabulary; the activity first approach and the target word approach. Advantages of using both of these approaches as well as examples will be shared. Learning Outcomes ● Participants will learn how to plan a lesson first, then pull core words and phrases that can be used and focused on throughout the lesson. ● Participants will learn how to use the target vocabulary focus approach when planning for core vocabulary based lessons.
