About the Course

Ready to make your digital learning materials work for all students?

Join CAST's popular six-week online course (June 23-August 1) designed to help educators across PreK–12 create accessible educational content that boosts student engagement and achievement.

This hands-on, self-paced course is the perfect starting point for schools and districts committed to equity and compliance. It supports the new U.S. Department of Justice rule (April 2024) under Title II of the ADA, which requires state and local governments—including public schools—to ensure their digital content is accessible to individuals with disabilities.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Core principles of accessibility and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

  • How to assess and improve the accessibility of digital learning materials

  • Tools and strategies to create content that works for all learners

  • Practical techniques to remove learning barriers and support student choice and voice

  • Skills to build inclusive digital and hybrid classrooms

Whether you're just getting started or looking to refine your practice, this course will equip you with the knowledge and tools to meet accessibility standards—and transform learning for every student.
